CYGO and CYGO Driver Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 September 2026

PRAESI TECHNOLOGIES LTD, Cyprus company registration HE 483138, is the controller for the personal data described in this policy. Contact [email protected], Nicosia, Cyprus.

1. Data we process

Depending on the app and features you use, we process:

Full card numbers and security codes are entered in Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay or another provider-controlled interface and are not stored in CYGO's database. Stripe Connect may collect Driver identity and bank details directly for verification and payouts. CYGO's approval form currently records permit and vehicle references as text and does not upload identity-document images.

CYGO does not use advertising SDKs, sell personal data, use personal data for third-party targeted advertising or track people across other companies' apps and websites.

2. Location

A Rider can enter pickup and destination addresses manually. Current-location pickup is optional and begins only after a user action and the relevant system permission.

CYGO Driver uses precise location to calculate nearby offers, dispatch the assigned trip and update trip progress. Collection begins only after an approved Driver chooses to go Online. Android shows a persistent foreground-service notification while background location sharing is active. Going Offline, signing out, losing the required permission, location or session, or losing server authority stops sharing.

Short-lived active-trip location samples are retained for six hours. The service does not create a public live-location link. Location is not used for advertising.

3. Why we process data

We process data to provide account access; search and preview routes; quote, request, match and complete rides; operate Driver approval and availability; coordinate pickup; process fares, tips, receipts, payments, refunds and payouts; send operational notifications; answer support and rights requests; secure the service; prevent and investigate fraud or misuse; resolve disputes; and meet accounting, tax and other legal duties.

Our legal bases, where applicable, are performance of the service contract, steps requested before entering that contract, consent for optional permissions or communications, legitimate interests in security, reliability, fraud prevention and support, and compliance with legal obligations.

4. Service providers and disclosures

Providers that help deliver CYGO include Supabase for authentication and backend infrastructure, Google for maps, routes and Android notification delivery, Apple for distribution, Apple Pay and iOS notification delivery, and Stripe for payments and Driver onboarding or payouts. We may also use hosting, email, security and support providers.

We disclose information when required by law or binding legal process, to protect users or rights, to investigate fraud or abuse, or to enforce applicable terms. Provider processing may occur in Cyprus, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, the United States or other countries where a provider operates. Where required, we rely on adequacy decisions, contractual protections or another lawful transfer safeguard.

5. Retention

6. Account deletion and your rights

Use Account > Delete account in either app, or email [email protected] with the subject CYGO account deletion if you cannot access the app. We may verify identity. Deletion may be delayed while an active ride, payment, refund, payout, fraud review or legal obligation remains unresolved. Deleting the app from a device does not delete the account.

Depending on applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive a copy of personal data, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. You may complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus or another competent supervisory authority.

7. Security and children

We use access controls, encrypted transport, scoped provider credentials, device-protected session storage and data minimisation. No transmission or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

CYGO is intended for people aged 18 or over who can enter a transport contract. It is not directed to children. Contact us if you believe a child supplied personal data without proper authority.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when features, providers or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the latest version. Material changes will be communicated through the app, website or store listing where appropriate.
