Cyprus Gazette and Tenders is provided by PRAESI TECHNOLOGIES LTD (“PRAESI”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

1. Summary

Cyprus Gazette and Tenders is designed to help users search, monitor, and verify public Cyprus Gazette notices, tenders, deadlines, companies, vacancies, and official source PDFs.

We aim to collect as little personal data as possible.

We do not sell personal data.

We do not use advertising tracking.

We do not use third-party advertising SDKs.

We do not require an account to browse Gazette notices.

We do not intentionally collect raw PDF text or full Gazette documents as user data.

Ask Gazette AI searches are processed only to provide Gazette-only search results and cited answers.

2. Information We Process

2.1 Information stored locally on your device

The app may store the following information locally on your device:

- App language preference

- Watchlist keywords and selected categories

- Saved app settings

- Local diagnostic counters

- Search quota status

- Cached Gazette feed data

- Cached official Gazette notice metadata

- Recently loaded source PDF or feed information where needed for app functionality

This information is primarily stored on your device and is used to make the app work.

2.2 Gazette search and Ask Gazette AI queries

When you use normal local search, the app searches the Gazette index on your device.

When you use Ask Gazette AI, the app may send your question, selected Gazette candidate results, and related public Gazette metadata to our backend so the app can return a cited answer. This may include:

- The search question you typed

- Gazette issue, section, notice, title, snippet, deadline, and citation metadata

- Candidate Gazette results selected by the app’s local search

- Basic app request information needed to process the request

Ask Gazette AI is designed to search only the Cyprus Gazette index and return cited Gazette results. It is not intended for general chat or legal advice.

Please do not enter sensitive personal information, private business secrets, passwords, payment information, health information, or other confidential information into Ask Gazette AI.

2.3 Subscription and purchase information

Ask Gazette AI Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store.

We do not receive your full payment card number, bank details, or Apple Account password.

The app may receive subscription entitlement status from Apple, such as whether Ask Gazette AI Pro is active, so that the app can unlock paid features.

Apple’s own privacy policy applies to App Store purchases and subscriptions.

2.4 Diagnostics and analytics

The app may use privacy-safe local diagnostics to help us understand whether Ask Gazette AI is working correctly.

These diagnostics are designed not to include raw query text, raw answer text, raw PDF body text, emails, phone numbers, account IDs, advertising identifiers, or precise location.

Diagnostics may include limited categories such as:

- Whether Ask Gazette AI diagnostics are enabled

- Query length bucket, such as short or long

- Query language category, such as Greek, English, mixed, or unknown

- Query intent category, such as tender search, deadline search, company search, or vacancy search

- Result count bucket

- Whether a result was opened

- Whether a source PDF was opened

- Whether no evidence was found

- Whether the backend fallback was used

- Feedback reason tags selected by the user, such as “not relevant” or “wrong deadline”

Diagnostics are used to improve reliability, relevance, safety, and product quality.

2.5 Feedback and support

If you contact us by email or through a support form, we may process the information you choose to provide, such as:

- Name

- Email address

- Message content

- Screenshots or attachments you voluntarily send

- Device/app details you choose to include

We use this information to respond to support requests, investigate issues, and improve the app.

3. How We Use Information

- Apple, for subscriptions, purchases, app distribution, crash reports, and App Store services

When Ask Gazette AI uses AI processing, the app sends only the information needed to answer the Gazette search request, such as your question and selected Gazette candidate results. We do not intentionally send the full Gazette archive for every question.

We require service providers to process information only for the services they provide to us and not for our advertising.

6. Official Gazette Data and Public Records

The app displays and indexes public Cyprus Gazette notices and official source PDFs. These public notices may contain names, company names, addresses, public authority information, tender details, legal notices, deadlines, and other information already published in official Gazette sources.

This public Gazette content is not created by us. We provide tools to search, view, and verify it.

Users should always verify important information in the official source PDF before acting.

7. Notifications

The app may offer watchlist or deadline notifications.

Notifications are only used if you enable them through iOS permission prompts or app settings.

Notification preferences may be stored locally on your device. You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings or in the app where available.
