President Atlas Privacy Policy

President Atlas is an iOS app operated by PRAESI Technologies Ltd ("PRAESI", "we"). It shows how a country changed under each of its presidents, using published World Bank data. This policy explains what information the app and this website handle.

In short: President Atlas has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. The app does not collect personal data and makes no network requests of its own.

1. Information stored on your device

The country you chose and the language you picked. All presidents, indicators and sources are built into the app. This information stays on your device. Deleting the app deletes it.

2. Location (optional)

Only if you tap "Use my location", the app asks iOS for one approximate location. It compares it with country borders built into the app, on your iPhone, to suggest a country, and then discards it. Your location is never stored and never sent to us or anyone else. If you say no, everything works and you choose a country from the list. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings.

3. Links you open

Sources and other links open in your browser and are covered by that website's own privacy policy.

4. Support and corrections

If you email us, we use your name, email address and message only to answer you or to check a correction, and keep them only as long as needed for your request.

5. Children

President Atlas is a general-audience civic information app and collects no personal data from anyone, including children.

6. Public figures

The app shows the names, terms of office and party affiliations of current and former heads of state, taken from official sources and cited in the app. These are public acts of public office. We process them on the basis of legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)) and for journalistic and educational purposes (GDPR art. 85; Cyprus Law 125(I)/2018, s. 29). Anyone who believes a record is wrong can write to [email protected].

7. Your rights

We hold no personal data from the app, so there is nothing to access, correct or delete on our side. You can ask us at any time to access or delete support correspondence. You may also complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
